This is great, it has good sound quality and its only 4 bucks pretty good deal for me

I would definately give this a buy. I looked around for other apps aswell, however, non of them carry all the features that this app does. Some lack the minimizing button, others lack the ability to jot down notes simultaneously. This app is great because it allows you to personalize your recordings with the use of images, text, and also graphics. You can also minimize the app while it is recording. The sound quality is very good aswell. I would definately say its worth its value. Glad i bought this app for university lectures.

This is the best app Ive ever used. I actually use it for work (interviewing people) and also for school (Masters courses). I have nothing but good things to say about it! I have been able to keep my busy life much more organzied and be much more efficient with this app. I rarely take the time to write reviews of apps but thought this one deserved it. Thank you for this one!

This product does not work. No instructions. No support. Emailed contact for support and an automated email reply said do not reply to email. Directed to suppport site that is not active. This app is not even listed in the product line at the iLifeTouch website.

I needed a recording app for a meeting in a hurry. Found this one, paid $3.99. No help file. Of the two support links listed on the app store, one goes nowhere and the other leads to an itouch support site with zero additional info. I think the developer has abandoned this app but still sells it. I recorded a 15 minute meeting and I cannot locate the file on my mac in order to email it. There is an email feature on the app but it does not reveal the file location and the file is too large too email. I need to zip it but cant locate it on my computer. Perhaps if I were more Mac savvy I could locate the file but this app sure isnt going to help me.

You cant record anything with this app. It doesnt work. Its a hoax to steal your money. Please dont make the same mistake I did. I dont know how else to put it, IT DOES NOT WORK. It opens, LOOKS AS THOUGH ITS RECORDING, when you click the little red record thing, but does. not. work. Wish I could give it negative stars. Thanks.

I personally hated this app! I needed a fast recording app to allow me to record an interview for a class. The app was confusing and would not let me save the recording or email it due to the size. Very hard to understand and useless.

I downloaded and installed it, albeit worried about the review remarks about it not working at all. It pulled right up. I immediately started recording and while babbling I opened the sketch tool to do some drawings. It could use some work, and you have to draw on your track pad (if using one) as if it were a tiny canvas (i.e. where you touch and drag is where the line goes versus moving a cursor to a starting point and then dragging a line. But we are talking 4 or 5 bucks here. The features of the sketch tool I couldnt figure out revolved around changing the color of the line. I lost my cursor, so when you touch the pad you only draw within the field. You have to insert the picture or close it to get your cursor back. So how does one move a non-existent cursor over another color to choose it? Ill check the iRecorder Support page. I also inserted a PSD (Photoshop) file. All the pictures were inserted in the text field. Thats as far as I got in less than 10 minutes of buying and using the app. I recommend it. The sound was as needed…I wasnt looking for a super codec for 5 bucks. It actually sounded better than some other more expensive ones Ive used. My summary. Useful tool for the money.

This app is pretty good. I really like that i can make notes and take pictures along with the recording. However, I have not been able to figure out how to transer files into dropbox for sharing. The app makes it easy to email the files, but the files are too big to email. Also, all the files appear to only be accessible through the app. In other words, I cant export the recordings and organize them in seperate folders. If I want to listen to a recording, then I have to open the app and scroll through the long list of recordings that are organized by date recorded. I am a student and I record a lot of lectures from different classes. Id really like to be able to organize my recordings in separate files based on the class. If these issues were resolved, then Id be glad to give this program 5 stars.

It looks great, but as soon as I tried to record something, I realized the application floated on top of every thing else. I eventually tried to minimize it, only to realize that I couldn’t reopen the window, and thus lost my recording. Did anyone actually try to use this application? It seems like they just said “looks good; ship it”.
